About
Trustee Beth Bowen

I stand for transparency, efficiency, and fiduciary responsibility of public funding.

What Does a Trustee Do?

The first duty of a Township Trustee is to oversee how your property tax revenues are expended on the services you enjoy as a resident.

  • Public Safety (Fire, EMS, & Police)

  • Infrastructure (Water, Sewer)

  • Environment (Parks, Pathways)

  • Quality of Life (Parks, Festivals, Classes)

  • Elections

  • Planning, Zoning, and Building Guidelines and Enforcement

The Township Board, including Trustees, provides vision and leadership for the expansion of residential, commercial, and industrial land use. This includes providing leadership for initiatives that impact township housing, location of jobs, and implementation of public transportation.

The Township Board hires a Township Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the township staff and programs.
